Authorized Release
- Students may be released to a parent or legal guardian.
- Students may also be released to an individual listed on the emergency contact card.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required for every checkout.
Early Dismissal
Early dismissals are limited to maximize instructional time and maintain a safe, orderly checkout process.
Students who drive themselves may not check themselves out based on a phone call, email, text message, or written note.
A parent or authorized adult must report to the school in person to complete checkout.
Students will not be released during the final hour except for verified emergencies approved by administration.
Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri: no release after 1:10 PM • Wednesday: no release after 12:10 PM
Florida Statutes §§ 1003.26 and 1003.27 require schools to report students who accumulate excessive unexcused absences.
15 unexcused absences within a 90-day period may result in suspension of a driver’s license or driving privilege.
To regain eligibility, the student must maintain 30 consecutive calendar days without an unexcused absence and satisfy all state requirements.
