Laptop Responsibility
Each student MUST have a student device loan agreement, (en espanol) filled out for their laptop.
Make sure the laptop is fully charged for the school each day and bring your charger to school every day.
- Tech Office Hours: Monday – Friday during 1st period and during students’ designated lunch.
- Laptop Damages:
- Damages must be reported immediately!
- You must fill out a statement form when reporting damage.
- An investigation will be conducted.
- If applicable, charges will be added to your MySchoolBucks account. Each failure, damage, or loss can cost up to $75 - $300.
- Lost or stolen devices must be reported immediately, and a police incident report must be filed.
- Tech tips:
- Take care of your laptop – avoid drops, spills, and rough handling.
- Save all schoolwork to OneDrive – so you can access it from any device.
- This is YOUR laptop for the school year. Do NOT lend it out.
- Laptops are always monitored. Only use the laptop for school appropriate matters.
- Shut down the laptop before charging to keep the battery healthy.
Insurance, (en espanol) can be purchased yearly for your laptop.
