Kowboys v. RockledgeKowboys add last minute game to schedule.

The Osceola varsity football team will play a non-conference home game vs. Rockledge (FL) on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Games against Viera and Winter Haven High School were cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.

"I didn't just want an eight game season, so I sent out who was available to play and Rockledge was ready and excited to play," athletic director Mr. James Bird said.

The varsity football players prepared for the last minute game during hurricane Irma.

"We have been watching film and working out during Irma and talking to each other about what kind of formations we will be playing against and how we will stop it," quarterback Braxton Jones ('18) said.

Sevien Martin ('20) said he felt the team would do well, despite the lack of practice time.

"We have to focus on winning and the Kowboys are always ready for anything," Martin said.
